Balm In Gilead
In the fall of 2018, UNC School of the Arts produced this timely piece as opioid addiction heightened in America. Exploring themes of addiction, homelessness, etc, students created a moving show that rocked people to their cores with its rawness.
As the Assistant Properties Director on this piece, I focused a lot on paperwork and budget. I dealt with artisans in the shop while the Props Director was in meetings or rehearsals. I also played a large role in the planning and executing of our load out when the project was finished.
